Enviably positioned amidst the olive-studded slopes that rise up from the shimmering inland lake of Zahara, the beautifully presented grounds of Casa Irene enjoy the most sought after of outlooks. Within the pool and its surrounding terraces you will find yourself gazing out across picture-postcard scenery to the medieval hilltop town of Zahara de la Sierra, which sits on the opposite side of the water against the mountainous backdrop of the Sierra de Grazalema.
Up above on the barbecue terrace you will discover an equally enchanting vista whilst inside the house a charming combination of high pitched beamed ceilings, warm coloured paintwork and country-style furnishings will provide a taste of authentic southern Spanish living.
Just 2.4km away, El Gastor provides all amenities, some good local restaurants and a typical village atmosphere whilst a drive of about 30 minutes will bring you to the historic sites of Ronda.
As this is a protected area of natural beauty, barbecue bans will be enforced from early June to end of September and an electric 'plancha' will be provided for outdoor catering.
