Balkongen på havssidan vetter mot Nacpan, och ljuset under solnedgången var guldfärgat och sedan lite rosa. Den typen av ljus behöver man inte redigera. Jag stod kvar tills det blev mörkt. Badrummet har bara dusch, vilket är lite opraktiskt om man inte vill få håret blött. Men det finns en liten hylla precis utanför duschen, praktiskt att ställa sina egna produkter där. Diskbänken är rymlig och det hänger en stor helkroppsspegel i badrummet. Jag fotograferade mig själv varje morgon. Frukostmenyn hade bra utbud. På eftermiddagen beställde jag en cocktail med ganska dramatisk presentation, som passade bra på bild.

VIP Meerblick, Balkon direkt auf den Nacpan-Strand, das Zimmer hat viel Platz: Schreibtisch, ein kleiner Esstisch, Sofa, Minibar mit Wein und ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne und zwei getrennten Waschbecken. Das war mehr als wir erwartet hatten. Das neue Sushi-Menü im Sunmai. In den Philippinen hatte ich wirklich keine Erwartungen an Essen, schon gar nicht an japanische Küche. Es war das Gericht auf dieser Reise, das mich am meisten überrascht hat. Das klingt vielleicht eigenartig, aber es ist die Wahrheit. Die Anfahrt von El Nido dauert etwa 45 Minuten, das letzte Stück ist holprig. Aber die Ruhe im Resort macht das mehr als wett. Im Alter reist man mit anderen Ansprüchen an den Service. Manchmal mussten wir etwas warten, aber es hat uns nie wirklich gestört.
