For a motel, it's really nice. I liked it. I would stay again in the future. But the customer service wasn't the best. The man wasn't friendly; he practically snatched my credit card out of my hand without explaining why. I had to ask him why he needed my credit card.

Good for the price; a bit dated but clean. Bed was quite noisy—every little movement produced a creaking sound. Breakfast was OK, not great. Right downtown, so easy walk to several restaurants.

Older motel, but clean and had everything we need

A convenient place to stay at the edge of Elko. Plenty of food and casinos in the vicinity a short walk away. There's a simple but adequate breakfast, and even an outdoor pool. Will stay again if we pass by here.

I got to park only feet from my door. The parking lot is a bit tight but not to bad. The room was clean and ac worked well and better lighting. I've stayed in a few places recently and I'll probably come back her over the others. I'll see what breakfast is like in the morning. They make it sound like it's going to be pretty good.

My stay was fine. It was clean and quiet and had all the basics, fridge, microwave, hair dryer and nice toiletries. Bed was comfortable enough with simple sheet/blanket combo. You have to remember this is an old motel with a lot of history and nostalgia so you are not going to get anything modern or fancy. Location was good with everything being with-in 5-10 min away. For a two night stay it was budget friendly.

Always excellent lodging when staying in Elko

Our room at the Thunderbird Motel in Elko was as clean and tidy as they always are. This motel is thoroughly cared for and always offers an excellent stay. The only downside to this visit was a slightly disappointing continental breakfast. With the exception of the microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, everything else was sugared or sweetened. Please offer unsweetened oatmeal and/or cereals for those who cannot eat sugar or sweeteners. Thank you.
