This is literally a dilapidated 1970s motel that clearly should’ve been condemned. How it is legally open is in serious question. I turned around and rented at Elkton Lodge across the highway. Wasted $56.00 on Sunrise Inn.

The capert was stained and dirty. Towels were dirty. Bathroom wall was chipped everywhere. I only stayed here based on the reviews which i now know was a lie! This place was horrible! Do not stay here!

Disgusting. Walls were falling apart. Door was so gapped you could see outside with it locked. Heat took an hour to warm up. (930pm @ 34° outside) bathroom door didn’t latch. Walls were so cracked you can feel the air blowing thru into your face. Dogs barking all night. Hard uncomfortable beds. Pillow case on pillow had what looked like blood on it. Bed had someone’s hair embedded into the blankets. Nasty food crumbs and garbage behind the beds on the floor. Couldn’t wait to leave.

It’s by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The price should be less than $5 for such a terrible place. They can’t even afford to change their towels; it’s like they’ve been using it to wipe the snout of a pig and I’m not even exaggerating. This comment is coming from someone who doesn’t even like writing reviews. That should tell you how horrible it is. Trust me you’ll regret sleeping in that hell of a place: dirty bedsheets like they haven’t changed it forever, foul odors, etc. Honestly, this place doesn’t qualify to be anything. It should be closed down. I was looking to give a zero star rating but there’s no zero.

Room floor feels like it is going to fall in, staff is ok except 1 older man. Rarely a microwave in my room, i always have to ask for one out of another room, or walk to the office and use the one there

The Staff were Good People. The Property and Cleanliness of the Room is To Be Desired. Its more of a Truck Stop type of place so you can what you pay for. Make Sure you Bring Your Own Towels and Wash Rags there stuff didnt look to clean. Check for bed bugs too and bring some Lysol Spray and a extra blanket plus a pair of flip flops or slides. My Room wasnt all that clean but like I said you get what you Pay For. Thanks

Disgusting. Peeling walls. Burnt comforter, stained sheets & towels. Broken shower handles, floor in bathroom was peeling, mold stains on shower curtain. Felt unsafe for even a pet. Worst stay ever.
