The cabin sits on a 9-acre mountain property with two additional cabins nearby, making it a great option for larger groups. While the cabins share the property, this one sits lower on the mountain and is not visible from the others, offering a quiet and private feel. If all cabins are booked together, the property can accommodate 10–12 guests.



Guest Access:

Guests will receive a keyless entry code prior to arrival for easy self check-in using the keypad at the cabin.



The entire cabin is private for guest use.

The cabin is easily accessible from Highway 52, and 4-wheel drive is not required.



The gravel driveway has a steady incline but can be accessed by most vehicles.

Cabin is very well furnished with modern conveniences. Location is adjacent to GA 52 highway; road noise was noticeable but not overbearing (note there are two more cabins on the property that are set back further from the road). We had a very pleasant 2-night stay. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The inside was just as described. Furniture and bed were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped for us to have breakfast and dinner each day and the complimentary tea and coffee were a nice bonus. The fire pit area was inviting and the cabin was easy to find. Jason was a great host and very prompt to respond.

Quaint Little Cabin w/Great Attractions Nearby

Wonderful cabin nestled up near the charming little town of Ellijay, Ga and a short drive from Amicalola Falls. Host was a great communicator and everything was as expected. We thought the cabin would be tucked further into the woods away from the nearby road (which is busy) but that's the only (very small) drawback. Would rent again (and most likely will in the spring/summer).

Enjoyed Our Stay

Once again we enjoyed our stay. The Bear Cub has everything we need. We are out and about most of the day but when we come back in the evening we can either enjoy the outside fire pit or go inside to the fireplace and watch a movie. We like the location. It is very clean.

Cozy Cabin in the Foothills

I loved my stay at this cabin. The property was quiet, comfortable and clean. My only constructive criticism would be the septic system, after using the bathroom, you can smell a slight odor from the toilet. Its reminiscent of a full RV toilet system and wasn't the most pleasant experience.
