Florida Casita, pool & beach 5 min!

Our pool home is just 3 blocks from the intercostal waterway with a boat ramp. The beach is right across the intercostal (5 minutes). We are located in a quiet part of Old Englewood Village. Just a few blocks away is the lively Dearborn St. Within walking distance is shopping, restaurants, bars and water. The beach has beautiful white sand and blue waters but don't miss the intercostal where dolphins and manatees live. Great fishing!

Our home is a traditional Florida beach house with a private pool. Even though it is an older house we have new comfortable beds in both bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is extra pull out sofa bed in the living room plus more people can be accommodated in the covered lanai where we have an additional pull out sofa. Roughly 1100 sqf of living space. We have a washer in the house. There is a BBQ grill with a lounge area in the backyard next to the pool. The driveway is big but half of it is reserved to accommodate our RV. We have enclosed backyard for your pets and a Lanai with AC where you can leave your pets while you are out for the day. Fire Extinguisher is in the main closet and first aid kit is in the main bathroom. We do provide some essentials like soap and toilet paper. If you ever need anything else, within reason then please ask and we will do our best to provide it.
During your stay at this vacation home, you're just a quick walk from Lemon Bay. Laundry facilities are available. A private pool and a kitchen are available in the vacation home.

Great hosts, lady next door in camper very friendly, nice, & quiet. We brought our own heaters, never used the ones there that I understand are loud. (But we didn't use them)Really liked the home, but I purchased some items needed in the kitchen like bowls, a 9x13 pan, food chopper, round cake pan. I brought my own foil, cling wrap, etc.

Englewood

House was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The HVAC unit ran, loudly, all the time (it was Feb and the temps were 70ish). The pool was not heated and needed some maintenance. There was a travel trailer in the driveway with an occupant the entire time - it was odd. We had no heads up about that being the situation.Overall it was a comfortable stay and short drives to restaurants, downtown area and Manasota Key.

Quiet getaway
