Located in the original old part of Ennis, only 1 block off of Main Street and one block from the world-famous Madison River, Edgar House is perfect for folks wanting to experience life in a small western town and have a view of the Madison River and Valley. The house is quite quaint and comfortable, with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a full elegant dining area. There is a large backyard for entertaining that is well equipped with a gas barbecue and picnic table and wonderful shade trees, as well as a privacy fence. Excellent dining, the Madison Valley Library, art galleries, and several fly fishing shops are a 5-minute walk away. Ennis also has a lovely 9-hole golf course, Madison Meadows, just over a mile away

Fantastic!

The location of the property was perfect. The fly shop and town was well within walking distance of the house. The view from the front porch was beautiful. It was truely the best of both worlds. Would highly recommend this house!

We loved the house. It was stocked with everything you might need. It was spotless. The location is great as you can walk to everything in town. We have seen deer in the backyard every morning.

This property was just about perfect. We've been coming to Ennis to fish the Madison for 19 years and this location was just fantastic. Loved all the quirky little aspects of the home like the height of the light switches, the front door knob being almost centered ... no closet space in each room upstairs but was manageable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Loved the house and the location. We loved waking around the corner to our favorite restaurant/bar. The view from the front yard is beautiful. The property manager, Kathy, was very responsive when the furnace didn’t come on initially. We’d stay there again.

Ennis Bungalow

The Ennis bungalow was convenient to town and areas we were fishing on lovely lakes. Kitchen, dining and living room were spacious. Only had 1 bathroom with small area upstairs with sink and toilet that you can’t stand all the way up due to low slanted roof. Listing needs to state one and a half baths. Enjoyed our stay in Ennis.

Great house

Last minute decision and turned out great. Awesome spot for both inlaws and kids - very relaxing back yard, and just a block away from the Main Street where there are tons of great shops. We hope it will be available next year too! Only thing I wish is that there was some sort of AC unit ...it was HOT, and the fans weren’t really helping too much. I guess when it’s 95 outside it’s just what happens.
