2 night stay for party

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel whilst attending a surprise 80th birthday party. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the general facilities. the first nights sleep was interrupted on several occasions by inconsiderate guests who had been attending a wedding at the hotel making far too much noise till past 4am. we were forced to call reception to attend the fracas, which they promptly did. the hotel also changed one of our rooms to be further away from the unruly guests. I do not want our experience to ruin the hotels reputation as they reacted to our concerns promptly and our second night stay was considerably more comfortable without interruption from unruly guests. the hotel is in a good location close to Gorey town centre but far enough away to avoid town centre distractions. buffet breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. Just a shame about some of the inconsiderate guests. would like to stay again without them!!

love the ashdown

We have stayed at the ashdown park hotel plenty of times over the years and as always it was great again. Great staff, rooms are lovely and the food is great. .the hotel is pretty much in the town so great location. .. enjoy. ..

Visiting relatives in the area

Staff very friendly and efficient. Wonderful breakfast. Room very nice and clean and we never heard a sound at night.
