Very nice, close proximity to everything

Nice spacious room, first floor as requested. Easy check in and front desk gentleman was super nice. Only complaint I have.....asked for an extra blanket...they had none! All taken by other guests?? Maybe a good idea to stock up and keep one in each room as other hotels I've been in do!

Hope you don’t want to watch tv…

The hotel itself is fine. It is not the newest, but it not dirty or run down. I had problems with getting tv channels to work. I tried replying to a text to ask about it but no one ever responded to my message (over a two night stay). I tried streaming on my own laptop and also experienced problems (couldn’t actually watch any programming). Usually I wouldn’t care but I was traveling alone and was bored.

Service and Amenities have become slack

We stay at this hotel 3-4 times a year because it is in a good location for visiting our family. We have noticed over the last year that the hotel’s services and amenities have declined. Ex: On our last 3 visits, our room has not been ready when we arrived. Check in is at 3:00 but when arriving after 4:00 it still isn’t ready. Also, the same ice machines have been broken since our visit in August of 2024 along with the guest laundry machines. You would think they would have been repaired over a 7 month period of time. Also, the key cards to our room were deactivated everyday so we would have to go to the front desk to have them reactivated. Finally, house keeping isn’t very good at doing their job. We had to go ask for towels and toilet paper which has been the norm for the past several stays. We are disappointed since we like the location and we like the way the hotel used to be so we hope they will make some positive changes.
