Cozy forest cottage under the oak trees

This memorable space is anything but ordinary. We warmly welcome you to this cozy forest cottage nestled among the oaks, located in a small-scale bungalow park in Ermelo. Thanks to its favorable location, the cottage offers privacy and is surrounded by greenery. Perfect for those seeking tranquility without being too far from civilization.

Wake up in the morning to the birdsong and the sunlight streaming through the unique stained glass shutters.

The cottage features an open space with a living/dining room and kitchen. There is a separate shower/toilet room and a bedstead with a double bed. The seating area offers a comfortable sofa facing a projector with Chrome TV for a private cinema experience. There is also a record player and board games in the cupboard. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

Heating is provided by a gas stove. You can also cozy up by making a fire in the wood-burning stove (please bring your own firewood).

The cottage has a large enclosed garden and a covered seating area, allowing you to relax outside while your four-legged friend explores the wild forest garden. You can also make a fire in the fire pit or fill up the outdoor tub for a refreshing dip. In the summer, the surrounding trees provide ample shade, keeping the interior pleasantly cool. For sun lovers, with some rearranging in the garden, there is always a sunny spot to be found.

We have also taken into consideration the inconveniences that come with the forest. ;) There is a carport to keep your car free from bird droppings, and there are window and door screens.

The cottage offers a peaceful atmosphere, but you can easily reach the center of Ermelo or Harderwijk, where you'll find plenty of restaurants and shops.

If you're more into sports, you can enjoy mountain biking on the nearby forest trails or kite surfing at Horst Beach, which also has a great beach bar offering kite surfing lessons. You can go for relaxing walks in the immediate surroundings without encountering many cars. Within a 10-minute drive, you'll reach the forest, heathland, or sand dunes.
