Gorgeous, Modern Guest House Near Rancho Santa Fe

Beautiful, modern, bright and well-appointed 2 bedroom (King and Queen + a Queen pullout sofa), 1 bath private guesthouse in a serene and peaceful setting overlooking Lake Hodges near Rancho Santa Fe. Completely remodeled in March 2019, this private home features brand new appliances, modern furniture and dedicated parking spaces within a private gated property. This guesthouse is well separated from the main house and completely private. Great for executives as well as families with children.

The Space:
This home has all the modern conveniences you'd expect, including a brand new 73" flat screen with fully paid Netflix access, an X-Box One with Game Pass access (dozens of games for free), ultra high speed WiFi, state of the art reverse osmosis water filtration providing healthy water to the cold water and ice dispenser in the fridge, as well as room temperature and hot water in the insta-hot water faucet. There's a regular pot coffee maker as well as a Starbucks or Keurig pod style coffee machine, and we include coffee as well as basic condiments in the kitchen for your use.

Guest Access:
The guesthouse is on a large 4-acre property. Guests are invited to use the large outdoor deck and space behind the guesthouse. Since there are usually occupants in the main house we ask that the tennis court, pool area, and main house be left alone for the occupant's privacy.

The Neighborhood:
The property is nestled into a hillside overlooking beautiful Lake Hodges. Just 5 minutes from the 15 Freeway and 15 minutes from the 5 Freeway, this is a central location where you can easily reach attractions like the Wild Animal Park or the beautiful Del Mar beaches. This is a neighborhood with high-end homes, hiking trails just up the road and walking distance to a gorgeous lake where you can fish, kayak, stand up paddleboard and go boating on a moment's notice (open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday https://rockymountainrec.com/lake-facilities/listing/lake-hodges).

Getting Around:
Just down the street (5-minute walk) you'll find a public bus stop, a famous Mexican restaurant, Lake Hodges and mountain biking/hiking trails in a beautiful mountain setting. There's a large shopping mall just 5 minutes away. Uber and Uber Eats service the area and rides are usually here within 5 minutes.

Interaction with Guests:
We will be available to assist in person if we're in town and staying in the main house. Guests can check in/out on their own with a private gate code and electronic lock, which will be provided to you before check in. We'll always be available by phone for anything you need during your stay, and we're happy to help with advice for local attractions, restaurants, entertainment, etc.

This guesthouse offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
