Estepona is situated on the Costa del Sol between Marbella and Gibraltar, about 45 minutes’ drive from Malaga airport. Andalucía is the southernmost, autonomous Spanish region and is famous for its beautiful nature and culture. Think of cities like Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba, Ronda, Granada and Malaga with their Moorish influences. Estepona is so central that all these places can be done as a daytrip.

Spacious apartment, Good location, Could use some work

We enjoyed our week in this apartment. The host met us and oriented us to the apartment. Communication was excellent and we appreciated the flexible check-out time.The apartment is getting pretty tired and worn. A refurb would be a good idea. The "common" key should perhaps be replaced. It's very sharp and I cut a finger on 2 different occasions, when pulling the keys out of my bag.Some repair work had been done on the toilet before our arrival and the bathroom hadn't been serviced afterwards, so no toilet paper, litter bin half full of someone else's trash, dirty floor, and smelly. Also, many of the dishes and utensils had to be re-washed before we could use them.The seafront location is nice, the terrace is spacious, and it's easily walkable to the town centre, beach, and Carrefour supermarket (right next door).
