It was great for our family of 5, with a "balcony" (think first-floor raised deck) looking out at the Rockies and elk walking around outside our door. (We're from Indiana; this is a novel experience for us.) We traveled to and from the national park a couple times a day very easily. Comfortable, clean room, and very affordable. The pool was under construction, but we utilized the hot tub out by the road. Lots of kids running around the place, which was fine with us. Breakfast was basically toast, cereal, and fruit, which we supplemented with our own protein snacks before heading out to hike all morning. I give it 5 stars not because there was nothing that could have been improved, but because the price and location and room were ideal for our family.

I liked that our units had parking right out our door. Staff was friendly, fast check-in and out. Extra requests were handled with smiles and fulfilled right away. The rooms were clean and neat. Table for 2 to eat and a desk and a chair. Beautiful view. This was my 2nd stay there and both were wonderful.

* The driveway is super steep * We stayed in 701 - the heat did not work. At about 11 pm it was 60 degrees in our room. I called the emergency number, they dis being 2 space heaters and said when it keeps flipping back to cooling they need serviced. The space heaters only had a 4 hour time limit. So we woke up freezing a few times. * I told the guy when we checked out, he said he’d see about a partial refund. But i didn’t get one. * The bathroom door lock did not work. * The chain lock on the main door was busted off. The room serves its purpose but id book with caution.

Nothing was unique about the property. Our room had major issues with the air conditioning, not working correctly. Smells horrible in our room. The toilet wouldn’t flush and shut off by itself bug and spiders throughout the room, need to updated, pictures online need to be update to reflect how the rooms actually look

The property was updated and clean and the rooms were nice. However, we were unaware that the pool and hot tub would be closed, which was highly disappointing after a long day of hiking. I would look at one of the other comparable hotels nearby that have functioning amenities. The “continental breakfast” is underwhelming, consisting of toast and prepackaged muffins.

Great location, close to both Rocky Mountain entrances, very close to downtown and restaurants, our room had a very large balcony and a separate living area. Best of all was the elk by our front door and by the balcony!!!
