Barbara & Patrick welcome you to an authentic 19th-century Morvan farmhouse, carefully restored using eco-construction methods, nestled in the peace and quiet of a chestnut grove, on a hillside on a southern slope, in the hollow of an intimate clearing on a 1-hectare "natural" property, adjoining their home converted into a "micro farm" (sheltering their horses in season & a henhouse), classified as an "LPO Refuge", maintained with a view to protecting biodiversity. Absolute tranquility in the countryside, in a small rural hamlet steeped in history (once home to "stone cutter" quarries for historic monuments, from which the spire of Autun Cathedral came). A literal haven of peace & rest, surrounded by nature, in a magnificent, preserved landscaped setting. Very comfortable gîte. Very warm, country-style charm with contemporary accents, a "country chic" feel, enhanced by the rich traces of the original building (framework and beams, walls, fireplace mantel and stone lintels, etc.). Enormous charm and character. Ultra-cozy. The cozy atmosphere of a sweet "family home." Large panoramic balcony terrace overlooking a natural garden with a relaxation area, complemented by a second shaded gravel terrace in the summer on the courtyard side.
