Won't be staying here again

I called the day before check in to ask about early check in as I was going to be driving quite far and needed a rest before an event we had tickets to. Unfortunately we arrived early as planned. And both rooms were not ready. Check in was at 3 but early check in was promised at 2. Our rooms however were not ready until 4:30! We were very upset. Everyone was so tired from being on the road that we just sat in the car and rested and missed our event. Then we get into one room only to find it was so hot. And they have no independent heater/ac. And that it was set to heat and couldn't be adjusted. And was advised to open the window which had no screen. They finally brought a fan that only circulated the hot air. Terrible 2 day stay with 2 rooms. Front desk clerk was rude about rooms not being ready and only said very rudely that there wasn't anything that would be done. We just have to wait. Oh and let's not forget about the homeless couple sitting on the curb with a child. That other long term renters(did not know motel 6 accepts rental vouchers) seemed to know. The woman actually slept on the curb in a wheelchair not sure what happened to the child. But there was a lot of long term not so safe looking people staying there. Walking around all night. Was concerned about our vehicles. Would have cancelled and looked for another room but you know the rooms are non refundable. And last minute rooms are way more expensive so thanks Motel 6 for another bad visit.

No amenities, not even a coffee pot or shampoo. No breakfast and coffee is only available in lobby between 6 and 10 in the morning. No markets next door to get coffee at. TV didn't get a signal. Dumpster divers at night and others on the property. Ceiling light didn't work. Requested a room downstairs due to hip issues and was told there was one room but it doesn't lock. Cold and uncaring customer service. Dogs barked most of the day and half the night left unattended in rooms.

The property was decent, I liked the location , everything I needed was within arm's reach. It was very late when I got there and I was so tired, the gentleman at the front desk got me right into a room, I didn't have to wait until check-in , which was a couple hours wait, and I'm not even a beauty, just a little old lady.

The housekeeping staff was very polite and fast. Manager very understanding when I had an issue thru a 3rd party booking site. Olivia allowed me to check in early and Consuela helped me w/ all my items I couldn't take on my return trip home. Walkabilty is fabulous and right next to the freeway/interstate.

Motel 6 is motel 6! i dont think its cheap anymore :(the rooms are always kinda gross.. but they always leave the light on for me and free for dogs.. so its my always hotel on road trips.. oh and they are almost always off all exits.. always convenient:)

The staff were all extremely nice, and many updates in the room we were in had been made. I liked the wood floors and simple style. Also there was no bedspread which I liked., and everything was clean. We were in a non smoking room, but when it warmed up we could smell smoke as we are sensitive to it. The bad. It was freezing in the room, we checked in at 2:30 and it took until around 6:30 to be able take off my jacket. The front door had a huge gap that let in cold air, so we had a little blanket we closed in door to stop that. Snow on ground outside so COLD. Once the room got room got warm it stayed toasty, but we saw many people out in their cars with heaters going. No extras in room, not even a wash cloth, 2 small soaps, no coffee maker. Coffee at front desk, from 6:30-10. I recommend staying somewhere else, if cold or hot as no air conditioner eithor.

Had a wonderful time here. My only issues is i wish the walls where thicker. Or farther from the rooms. We heard our neighbors screaming, cussing, slamming things and door, at odd hours of both day and night. Me and my partner are light sleepers so i was disappointing to have this happen. The staff were wonderful and cheerful. They helped us get back into our room after the door didn't open. Thank you guys for this experience.
