Clean and comfortable but wi-fi is sus

I was in town on business and needed an internet connection when I was at my lodgings. The guest wifi provided was unsecured and wouldn’t allow me to access my CRM website and other things like Reddit for some reason. It also caused things like Netflix to not recognize my computer. At multiple points I was worried the wifi allowing access to my laptop remotely. While the rest of the stay was fine, the WiFi for my job is so important I can’t justify staying here again.

There are a lot of homeless people in the area but it’s California and not unusual . My sister and I had a ground floor room facing the parking lot and I did not worry about my safety or that of my car. There is a delicious Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance and a kabab house my family has patronized for years.
