Nicely refurbished hotel, friendly staff. Colsons bar wasn't stocked very well and the bar staff didn't know how to make cocktails. £30 for a dog to stay for 1 night is so expensive. For that price I was expecting some treats in the room, dog bowl etc like in other hotels, but nothing.

The hotel is beautiful. We couldn’t fault the room. The lobby is also lovely. The only issue we had was the spa. We found it quite unclean and the hot tubs quite grimy. We mentioned to staff who were lovely but the condition was the same the next day. The hot tubs were also starting to get in poor condition.

i stay here every month and always get a printed reciept no problem but on this occasion i was told i had to ask for one from hotel .com through whom i book it every time i visit. I asked for one and the receptionisnt said she wul dsend it but still hasnt so not sure i will return in August as planned

The overall services (restaurant, breakfast) were disappointing in comparison to the last time we stayed. “Sorry, it’s grad week” was the refrain, but why not staff up in anticipation? Our room should have had twin beds, which it didn’t. Then there was little effort to help separate the mattresses, and while everyone was polite, the services were inconsistent and the food sub par for both directions one and breakfast.
