Located just off the A30 you can be in Exeter within 15 mins making the Woodleigh Country Lodge the perfect base for your Devon adventure.

Exeter Cathedral green. Soak in the historic architecture of our beautiful Cathedral (a must see)

Exeter High st which holds all the major shopping brands and malls (Princess Hay and Guildhall).

The high st also hosts lots of Exeter's most popular bars and nightclubs (Timepiece,The Terrace,Unit 1, The Vaults)

Gandy st (just off the high st) provides more niche and funky theme bars plus the legendary Cavern club for Live music acts. This club has been a well-loved venue in the city since 1991. Known for hosting bands like The 1975 to solo artists like George Ezra to name but a few.

Exeter's historic Quay which offers a range of contemporary cafes, bars, restaurants, pizzerias and local shops. Enjoy all these whilst watching the beautiful swans and ducks play in the River Exe.

The Quay also has an indoor climbing centre for the more adventurous and also the opportunity to hire a Kayak or canoe at Saddles & Paddles. This is great fun. You can paddle down river to the famous double locks pub, moor up and pop in for lunch or a drink then paddle back. This is a great afternoon out on the river.

Our spacious, beautifully furnished caravan accommodates up to four guests in two cozy bedrooms, including one with an en-suite. The Neighborhood:

Woodleigh Country Lodge sits on the bank of a beautiful fishing lake in the tranquil Woodleigh Caravan Park and is situated between Exeter which is the historic capital of Devon and on the border of Dartmoor National Park.



In Exeter's bustling centre, you'll find elegant Georgian architecture and a distinctive mix of modern restaurants, traditional pubs, state-of-the-art performance spaces and modern music venues. Exeter's centre is fairly compact and most of its best attractions are within easy walking distance of each other.



Exeter is a great place to be if you like shopping. Don't miss the award-winning Princesshay Quarter, in the heart of the city. Here you'll find top High Street brands. For some of the city's more interesting independent shops and a nice selection of cafes, head to Gandy Street. The elegant Cathedral Quarter is home to some of the city's best restaurants, boutiques and pavement cafes. Don't miss the excellent Christmas Market, on cathedral green during the winter months.



For the walker, Dartmoor National Park is only a short drive away. Combining endless trails, tors and breathless views.



For the beach goer. Exmouth and Torquay are within driving distance complete with sprawling sandy beaches,Water parks and all the fun the seaside has to offer for all the family.



Getting Around:

With its fantastic location close to the A30 you can be anywhere in Devon within a short drive or bus journey. The bus stops right outside the park and there are plenty of taxis available also.



Other Things to Note:

Please remember that the fishing lakes are free to use but please bring your own tackle.
