Cottage with Private Pool, Hot Tub and Peaceful Garden

Set within the framework of the breathtaking Alpilles hills, this cottage stands in grounds of 2 hectares (5 acres), about 1km from the centre of Eygalières - regarded by some to be prettiest village in Provence - and reached by a mostly unmetalled lane. The owner's family occupy two adjacent properties but they share none of the facilities of the cottage nor affect its privacy: there are no other houses within several hundred metres. All rooms in this cottage open to a partly-walled terrace with sun canopy, table, parasol and chairs and the excellent 10m x 6m pool (0.8-2.5m deep), beyond which a gently terraced garden gradually fades into the hillside, rising into the glorious Alpilles hills, their lower slopes taken up by olive groves and vineyards. A paradise of tranquility and yet within 20 minutes drive of Avignon and 1 hour of Marseille airport.

Einfach schön!

Wir hatten tolle 3 Wochen im Haus von Jean Michel und Christiane! Auch wenn unser Französisch noch ausbaufähig ist, wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns von Beginn an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist klein aber sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Und der Garten mit großem Pool toll angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Auch für unsere Hunde der perfekte Urlaubsort durch das angrenzende Naturschutzgebiet mit vielen tollen Wanderwegen. Und Eygaliere ist ein sehr hübscher Ort mit vielen guten Restaurants, einem schönen Markt und allen Geschäften des täglichen Bedarfs. Kurzum: es blieben keine Wünsche offen und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
