Maison Elena, luxury holiday home with private swimming pool in Eymet

This comfortable (huge) villa with large fenced private pool is within walking distance of the charming medieval town of Eymet, close to Bergerac airport. The villa has a lovely enclosed garden with many lovely places to enjoy the sun. Also, a large terrace and a cozy balcony with seats, facing south, a large swimming pool of 10 x 5 m with fence. The owner is a wine producer, definitely make sure to ask for its fine wines! We are certainly fan!

Inside
The central hall leads into the cozy living room with sliding doors to the terrace. Upon entering your "oriental experience" starts: the owner has travelled a lot and you see all the little foreign details! The cozy dining room has access to the balcony. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven and microwave and in the pantry you will find the refrigerator, freezer and washing machine.

On the 1st floor there are three large bedrooms, one bedroom even has three single beds! Large bathroom on the same floor. The house can sleep up to 6 persons and in each room there is space for a cot.

Outdoors
Quietly situated just outside the town. The south facing enclosed garden offers plenty of privacy and the large pool is secured by a fence. In front of the house there is ample parking.

Surroundings
Eymet is a tourist town of the thirteenth century, with each Thursday morning a cozy provincial small market. When I visited the house I had the chance to experience the lovely centre of Eymet, full of life and still so romantically peaceful... It is 20 minutes from Bergerac airport only. Tourist attractions nearby include a trip to Sarlat and Bergerac, visiting the many castles and caves, and how about a lovely canoe trip on the Dordogne. The route du vin is a must for wine lovers! Of course there are sports activities such as cycling, walking, rowing on the River Dordogne and golf at the Castle Vigiers (6-9- and 18 holes).
