With a generous living space of 115 m² and a location at the end of a tranquil cul-de-sac, this idyllic temporary home offers the perfect balance to everyday life. The combination of its quiet location on the outskirts of the village and its proximity to the Baltic Sea makes our house an ideal starting point for numerous discovery tours.
Inside, the lovingly renovated wooden house impresses with a spacious living area, which is visually appealingly divided by an open shelf and invites you to linger in addition to comfortable seating, a TV with satellite TV and a selection of games and books. A modern air-to-air heat pump ensures pleasant temperatures all year round. The bright, large kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to cook together. Three cosy bedrooms and a guest WC as well as a bathroom with WC complete the space on offer. Bed linen and towels can be booked as an option.
Outside, a spacious garden with a covered terrace and another open terrace invite you to sunbathe or relax in the shade, depending on your preference. A large car park in front of the house provides convenient parking, and bicycles can be hired for a small fee for excursions into the natural surroundings, while the garden offers plenty of space for children to let off steam.
The area surrounding Fågelfors is a paradise for nature lovers. Several lakes, ideal conditions for hiking, mushroom and berry picking in the surrounding forests as well as the possibility of canoeing or fishing on the river Emån offer a variety of leisure activities. A small supermarket in the village covers your daily needs. Larger day trips take you to attractions such as the Astrid Lindgren Museum, a moose park, picturesque towns such as Kalmar or Oskarshamn and from there by ferry to the Blå Jungfrun Island nature reserve, for example.
