The room is super dated. Smelled funny. Lint and dirt under everything and even a pair of a random persons reading glasses under the chair. Found buggers in the tub, and it looked like a milkshake or something had been spilled on the door of the closet. When we first arrived at the room, the heat was turned all the way up. It had to of been over 80. Called the front desk, they sent maintenance. He popped off the metal paneling on the wall and sure enough our heat was set to the max. He turned it down, and brought a plug in heater just in case it "got too cold". Even with it turned down under the panel manually, we had to have the AC that smelled like mildew, on the entire night. If i coud leave 0 stars I would. It turned a trip to Fairbanks while it was -37, even more miserable. 20/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

The room wasn't spotless but they did have staff on site that came and cleaned the room up for us so that was amazing! I did love the Christmas decorations everywhere. Got some good pics of my son with them so thanks!!!

The breakfast was just okay tasting. The server was fantastic and was hustling around so much. It was just so pricey. $21.95 for a limited buffet of eggs, potatoes, bacon, coffee, water, bagels and toast. Condiments were peanut butter, strawberry cream cheese, butter, and ketchup. A meal that should be $15 tops unless someone is eating several plates of food.

Took way too long to check in. Could not find the name/booking. Rooms were fair. Carpets stain in hallways. outside doors to south tower did not work from the outside and at -10 did not really want to walk around to main entrance.

We enjoyed our stay at the Westmark Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the location is conveniently close to downtown. It felt quieter, likely because it’s winter and there weren’t many guests around, but we didn’t mind at all.

Rude staff, the TV couldn’t play without taking a minute to freeze then play some more for about a minute (this was the provided tv programming, nothing streaming,) the thermostat was inoperable so no temperature control, the shower plumbing was backwards and very touchy so a minor adjustment would go from cold to scalding hot. Also worth mentioning is that this property is currently undergoing renovations so of the three floors available there were two vending machines both of which were empty. When I asked staff about any bottled water available they said I would have to wait until the breakfast cafe was open. And finally, an employee came into the room at 8:30 am (I didn’t have the deadbolt locked) and woke me up on “accident”. Then at 10 minutes before checkout time a house keeper was knocking on my door to see if I was going to be checking out. All in all I did get a bed to sleep in, but most of what you pay for beyond a bed was not functioning.
