This house was exactly what we wanted. Spacious. Comfortable beds, clean. What was disappointing was how such a beautiful house hasn’t been kept up. The over stove microwave hood fan non functional so they simply put microwave on counter. No hood fan at all. Dishwasher was testy the first day then did not work the remainder of our stay. Fireplace is gas , which on a cold snowy night would have been ideal… but owner does not have it connected to gas , so again not functioning. Small deck on back of house but the bbq isn’t on it. Instead it’s placed in the middle of the yard with instructions not to move. Not ideal when there’s 3” of snow and it’s dark. Oh and neither of the two propane tanks for bbq were functional. One was empty and the other had a broken valve. Holes in the walls above baseboard heaters seemed like something that should have been addressed ? Pans for cooking had burnt debris on them… overall this home has amazing potential , unfortunately it has not been maintained to the level you would expect or want when you’re looking to have a nice relaxing stay.

The house was missing alot of things we needed. Tupperware, ziplocks, can opener that worked, blow dryer that worked, wine glasses, more dishes and cookware. Some family games would be nice. Wasn’t much to do. Needs some updates

Golf vacation

This was the best vacation our family has had for a long time! We were there from Alberta and the United States! The place was exactly as listed. Darren was extremely helpful in answering all our questions! The house is immaculate and we (including our dog) felt totally at home. The golf courses were handy. Our stay at this cozy home was absolutely wonderful! The location is fantastic, and the layout of the house is absolutely perfect for young and old alike. Left Early and will NOT return

What was once a nice house has fallen into disrepair due to years of neglect and lack of maintenance. The old Cedar shack roof is in horrible shape and covered with years of pine needles, it is a fire hazard! Also, there are open wire outlets on the walls. A large heat/fan register shows evidence of a fire at one time as it is all burnt. The wooden widow castings are horribly rotting as well as the door frames. The floor is lifting and had shards sticking up, dangerous for people and pets. The blinds are in very bad shape and need replacing. I doubt this home is even up to safety code and the owner states he is in the construction business..shameful. Outside not much better with piles of debris. Not as serious but annoying as there was no paper towel, salt, soap, and other necessities that were listed. Old beds topped with cheap pieces of foam. The house is just sad from years of neglect and it feels that way. It has a odd stench to it and the dishwasher smelled awful.This is a classic take money in but put nothing back. I feel it was badly misrepresented on VRBO and by the owner. I have pictures and would love to post them to show just how much damage is in this home. A very disappointing rental indeed, but the area is nice. I am not one of the friends or family reviews obviously. Renters beware!

Great Place Close to the Hot Springs

Beautiful house, close to the hot springs. House was very clean located close to the golf course, great for walking and overall access to the area. There could have been a few more amenities (shampoo/conditioner) but overall a great experience. Host was easy to get ahold of and check on us to ensure we had everything we needed.
