The hotel was inhabitable. There were rat sign everywhere. The odor of the room was nauseating. Witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot. The employee showed us a different room and it was worst than the first. There was semen and other bodily fluids present everywhere. I’m going as far as contacting the city to condemn this place

Parking is convenient right in front of the room. The condition of the room was much improved from the other room we stayed in last month. The bed was comfortable. There were just a few burn holes in the blankets and the phone seem to be burned. But not necessary for our stay. The shower was remodeled and a great upgrade from our previous stay.

We reported the toilet was not flushing correctly and the desk clerk said they would send someone after 1:30pm to fix it. When we returned to the room after 10pm (ready to go to bed) the toilet had NOT been fixed. Not sure if anyone looked at it - it still did not flush - just slowly went down without ever completing the flush. At that point we had to just shut the bathroom door. We left early the next morning.

The owner and his wife are delightful. The place is a pretty basic budget motel, just as we were expecting. Nothing fancy. But the service was exceptional. Parking was easy, a/c worked well. And there’s a delicious cafe right next door. With good food and great service. I believe it’s called Garden Cafe. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, 🎄 too.

The room had multiple fixtures either broken or rusted over like the showerheads, towel rack and lamps in the room. Felt like I needed a tetanus shot when I left just in case. The curtain for the front of the room was too small to cover the reflection of the mirror so anyone walking by could see into your room. The parking lot had a fountain that looks like it had been destroyed and left to rot. There were multiple, questionable fixtures up high on the wall that appeared to be either a dismantled smoke detector or a camera. Not sure(tried taking a video). The bedsheets had cigarette burns all over. The pillow cases were yellowing. The outlets were so loose the phone charger would fall out of it. Got up in the morning and I thought I could see someone walking past my door from my peripheral vision. Look over to see a mouse darting back and forth looking for a way out. Not to mention the fire department and paramedics coming to wheel someone away while i was packing my car to leave. Also i booked a king bed room, but got a 2 queen bed setup even though I was traveling alone and requested the single non smoking king bed room in my reservation. Every bit of this place was subpar and in need of cleaning or repair. Was it a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in? Yes. Was it any more comfortable than sleeping in my car, parked up on the street. Not really. Been there done that. Normally don’t complain but this place.. definitely left an impression on me for future consideration.
