When tranquility and the serene; with an exciting touch of adrenaline and excitement, is what you crave. Then you’ve found the perfect place to find all those and so much more. The Servers are extraordinary and tend to you like family. The Entertainers are Outstanding!!! Even the Tour Director was exceptional, creating the best fun my family could imagine!!! The FOOD, absolutely no WORDS, culinary Masters create a sublime dining experience. Housekeeping goes above and beyond! Loved the Heart Symbol on the freshly made beds!

Loved the entertainment, the amenities, everything was super clean and everyone was super nice! Didn’t get to experience the beach since the water was rough but that’s not on the hotel. I’m sure it would’ve been great since everyone else was great! They make sure all your needs are met and always walking around offering drinks!! Best vacation!

New property. Great and super clean amenities. Unfortunately they’ve got a night club across the street which gets super loud on Saturday evenings. Like LOUD. Property doesn’t seem to have enough elevators given the size of it, which is a design flaw. Lots of waiting for elevators. They made some decisions I wonder if they can reverse. It just feels like they’re caught between trying to be a family resort and also super lovely for adults etc. they’ve got a massive slide which in my opinion doesn’t get enough use and should instead get converted into another family pool area. Right now they’re got 1 kids play area, 1 general/family pool and the others are adult/swimp up bars and a fitness pool. The cafeteria space could also be expanded so it’s less crowded. They’ve got a private dining area which I’m sure serves its purposes for private events etc but once again for such a large resort, the cafeteria/buffet should be larger. Lastly, I’m not design expert but for such a high end resort in the Caribbean, I’d have real flowers at at entrance and lobby etc instead of fake ones when the rest of the resort is real. Minor details go a long way. Also,I know it’s likely an efficiency thing, but you should be offering an omelette station, it’s a standard part of most resorts. These are “even better if” suggestions. We had a lovely time, cleaning staff and entertainment staff are incredible, rooms are up to date and modern etc. kids and grown ups had a great time.

Blankets were covered in hair! No pins colodas all week? No chocolate for kids drinks. Lack of entertainment. Food was terrible at restaurants!! We ended up at the buffet each night after the inedible food at the restaurants. 3 small pools, back to back?! Poor design. Swim up bar only for adults but yet the adults pool has its own swim up bar?! Why not have the family pool with a family swim up bar?! 4 tiny elevators for the entire resort?! Constantly had to wait for a jam packed elevator. Pink mold and hair in our shower. Felt more like a 3 star hotel than an all inclusive resort.

The staff for the most part were amazing. At check in, we were not told about towel cards, reservations for dining, or helped when our flight was delayed and missed out on a day. From calling in ahead of time to arrange something different, we could never reach anyone. The gift store is outrageously priced, be sure to pack all basics. To go anywhere, be ready to spend a good $70 for transport up to the hundreds. We missed out on a lot for not being informed at check in. After that though, staff was the best ever.

Property was lovely. Staff was helpful. Booking was confusing between RIU and Expedia. I had 2 adult and a 6 yr old child. RIU stated Expedia RSVP to them was 2 adult and an infant, so I had to pay an extra $262 for the child. My itinerary show clearly 2 Adult and 1 child. Spoke to Expedia Got an email from Expedia to confirm it was a 6 yrs child iteneary update with confirmation # and Expedia would also send one to Reservations office by RUi stated they nerver got update but I got mines email to me and forward them a copy. Still no refund was done. I saw a similar review posted before I came and was pro active follow up and confirm with Expedia it is a child. You have to make sure the hotel state what age they have on RSVP for child/children.

The resort was very clean and well cared for. Food was average, reservations for restaurants were impossible unless you made them in the middle of the night. The biggest problem is that there weren't big enough pools for families. Children were limited to 2 pools which made those extremely crowded. The resort needs to make bigger pools to accommodate the amount of guests that they have.

Getting a reservation for one of the specialty restaurants is practically impossible. They charge you for late checkouts. The elevators take forever and the staff, especially the supervisors at the reception, are very rude. We didn’t arrive at the hotel until 8 PM and asked for a late check out of 2 PM and they wanted to charge us $60. Would definitely not go back.
