Pleasant Puglia
This little house was a great spot for my two daughters (21 & 19) and I to relax and enjoy 8 days of beautiful Puglia weather! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained! It has a large, gorgeous pool, a spa hut where one can arrange for a massage, 3 hammocks and a swinging chair under the umbrella of a huge walnut tree, another hammock (also under trees), glider, several seating areas, a covered outdoor kitchen/bar and grill, a separate covered outdoor dining area, just outside the main suite, and secure parking inside the gated property.
It is arranged on three levels; house and outdoor area (1 hammock and the glider) at top, pool, outdoor kitchen and seating on middle level, and yard/garden, spa, and hammocks at bottom.
There are several nearby hillside restaurants, and a coffee spot/bar, It is only 20 minutes from the beach, as well as from the historic UNESCO town, of Alberbello,
Filippo, our correspondent, was extremely professional and very nice, offering assistance and information. Check in with the owner went smoothly, and she offered sites not to be missed.
The property is three bedrooms; one is en-suite. The charming stone en-suite shower is small but does the trick. The third bedroom is tiny, but like a warm hug.
A couple things to note; to arrive in the en-suite bedroom, you must walk through the second bedroom, or from outside. For us, it was not a problem, because we were family. It would not work for two couples. The lounge/living room, has a table and chairs, no sofa. This is a house in the hills, in a rural neighborhood, which we liked. The only negative Is there are a lot of barking dogs in the neighborhood.
This is a rental where we would gladly return!
