The room looked clean but it didn’t smell clean. Although I can’t handle some of the harsh strong cleaning chemicals in other hotels this one had a musky smell. Other than that it was just average.

This hotel was under construction. The staff was amazing and friendly. The room was spotless. The pool was beautiful. The pet policy awesome and the grounds were well kept including a fenced in dog park. We were very pleased and will be using this hotel over and over when we travel.

When we got to the hotel for check-in at 9:15pm, the front door was locked with a sign saying “I’ll be back shortly “.. so we stood outside for at least 15min before the door got unlocked by the front desk person. When we walked in she just asked if we had a reservation and proceeded checking us in without even acknowledging that we’ve been standing outside waiting for her. When she was done checking us in, she yelled out “you’re welcome”. Because we didn’t say thank you! Unbelievable. She didn’t even think to apologize for leaving the front desk to get food during her shift. So the hotel is clearly understaffed and the staff that is there has tremendous attitude as if they’re doing customers a favor by doing their job and poorly at that!
