A sunfilled one bedroom private cottage amongst native gardens and abundant wildlife. Wake up to the sound of black cockatoos and watch the wallabies nearby and maybe spot a koala in the nearby eucalyts or echidna scratching around the gardens.

The cottage is on a small acreage in the village of Federal in the Byron hinterland. It is private from the main residence and is 60m2 plus deck.

The cottage has a full kitchen and open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, washing machine, walk in shower and comfortable queen sized bed, There is a deck that looks out over the valley with glimpses of the ocean and the swoops of the Byron Bay lighthouse at night. It's a short distance from the quaint Federal villiage where you will find the popular Doma Cafe and Moonshine Coffee.

The cottage is suitable for couples with all the amenities for a short getaway, romantic weekend or a longer stay to explore this beautiful area. It's quiet, private and comfortable.

A short drive to Byron Bay (25 minutes), Minyon Falls (20 minutes), Goonengerry National Park in the Nightcap Ranges, Mullumbimby, Bangalow and Brunswick Heads. There are lots of amazing places to discover in the Byron hinterland.

Strictly no pets, smoking or vaping on the property. Two people maximum.

What a wonderful getaway to a paradise amongst the hills. High end fit out and generous local produce samples. Everything you could wish for. Cabin is so comfy and spacious. Peaceful surroundings to enjoy the flora and fauna. Handy to road trips to the great little towns and markets. One of the best cabins we have stayed in!
