We checked in late at night and having put our bags down in the room we received a knock at the door, only to be told we had been given the wrong room and had to move. Onto the next room we went and upon entering we found a double and a single bed, despite booking a family room for 4 people and it stating that there was a double and 2 x singles in the room. Down
To reception we went and explained the situation, to which the receptionist told us the the 3rd bed was under the double. We pulled out a single mattress that had no sheets or quilt.
The carpets were filthy, everywhere was dusty and I know you can’t expect much from a service station hotel but it really was awful.
And just to top it off, on checking out we were told that the room below us had complained that we were stomping around the room between 3am and 4am, which we certainly wasn’t!!
Needed a stopover on route to the airport. Worked perfectly.

Abysmal attitude by first member of reception staff I saw. Backchat given by him.
Stained bed sheet.
Lack of staff meant most days, clean towels were not provided. I was going to reception to get them myself. One time the bins were not emptied. Told to put them outside bedroom door.
Internet not very reliable.

Nice staff - dirty carpet, needs upgrading.
Check in and staff - top notch not a single issue. Friendly and helpful.
The room . . . The carpet was stained, dirty and a total mess! Would have looked better is they bleached it.
Family room and the 2 small beds were only just 1 up from a mattress on the floor and poor quality mattress at that.
We turned up with low expectations (turned up 11pm to leave 8am) and this managed to be lower than that.
Friendly staff, spacious room, well lit room with good lighting options and powerful shower! Parking is £5 if you haven't booked direct with the hotel.

Had family room couple of mattresses on a funny little base on floor both reasonably uncomfortable, main bed too close to wall kept kicking it . Had to ask for more towels 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel between 3. Bathroom could do with a good bleaching mouldy sealant and tiles main bedroom had cobwebs and a spider. Hot too no fan.
You get what you pay for. Be prepared for a £5 parking charge if you have not booked direct. In need of refurbishment but beds were comfortable and quiet bearing in mind the proximity of the motorway. Definitely only a one night stay type of place and cheap

When we arrived, there was no room available. We had all the emails, texts, to confirm our booking, but the receptionist couldn’t find it on her computer. So we ended up having to pay extra for another room and then get onto Expedia to refund us the payment. Total mismanagement
I needed a stop over, driving west to east - this was perfect, clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the M3. I was able to check in late, no problem.
