Delightful Cabin near Outdoor Activities

Welcome to Beary Blessed Cabin, a delightful 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home located in a private mountain community in Fleetwood. Guests have access to the Fleetwood Falls community lake for catch-and-release fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and picnicking. This mature community features paved roads and a neighborly atmosphere. Many residents can be found walking the quiet roads, tending to their gardens, or enjoying the community trails around the clean freshwater lake with picnic and swimming areas.

The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the New River and outdoor activities like canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing. Winding along with the river is Railroad Grade Road - formerly the site of the Virginia Carolina branch of the Norfolk and Western Railway that ran between Abingdon, Virginia, and Todd, North Carolina. Today, Railroad Grade road is a quaint, flat roadway that services motorists, bicyclists, and walkers.

This three-level home includes an open concept main level space with the living room flowing into the dining area and kitchen. A fully covered screened sunroom/porch has cozy seating around a gas log fireplace and an alfresco dining table. The secluded hot tub is on the deck to the side of the house. There is a king bedroom on the main level with in-room access to the main floor jack-and-jill bathroom. The open loft sleeping area above the living room has a queen bed, a twin bed and trundle, a TV, and a full upstairs bathroom. The lower level features a cozy family room with a game/puzzle table, couch, and TV. There is a bedroom with a full bed on the lower level and a twin day bed with a trundle in the family room area.

Beary Blessed Cabin includes wifi, central heating and air conditioning, paid TV programming and streaming options, and a washer and dryer. The gravel driveway has parking for two cars.

Not far from Boone and close to the town of West Jefferson, art galleries, restaurants, breweries, and a local favorite, the Ashe County Cheese Co. Guests will enjoy the peaceful quiet area. It is a great escape to the mountains.

Guests must abide by the Fleetwood Falls Lake Park community rules and practices while enjoying the beautiful lake and trails.

This cabin offers its guests a hot tub, barbecue grills, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
