Great trip

The property was very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and it was perfect for our group (two families with kids). Will definitely be back.

Beautiful mountaintop property in convenient location.

The mountain views with this house are spectacular! Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The house is very well-built and the layout is very convenient with space for everybody to spread out. The air hockey and arcade games in the basement were a big hit with the kids in our group. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment and the coffee closet was great for the coffee drinkers in our group. We took family pictures at the pond and caught a few fish there. The location is almost perfect between our areas of exploration of West Jefferson and Boone. The only item of note is that the neighborhood roads to the house are EXTREMELY steep and narrow. Our Honda Odyssey van struggled going up fully loaded, but made it up and down successfully three times during our stay. Most cars, vans, trucks, and SUVs should be able to make it up with clear roads, but it would be wise to make sure a vehicle is in very good mechanical condition (especially brakes), before staying at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may book again in the future.
