Summary:

This large, newly renovated wooden house is located in the middle of the forest, on top of the Bockaberg, close by Lake Uspen. The drive leads through dense woodland and ends at a quiet lakeside setting where nature and space define the experience. Inside, generous common areas invite guests to relax and spend time together, while the surroundings offer opportunities for canoeing, sauna sessions by the lake, hiking, and exploring the nearby region.



This is a calm, private place for families and groups who enjoy nature, space, and simplicity without hotel-style structures.



The Space:

The Ladhus was originally built in 1954 from solid wood and underwent a complete renovation in 2023. All bathrooms were renewed, and the house was modernized throughout while preserving its character.



The heart of the house is a 100 sqm living area with views of the rocks and the lake. Here you can dine together at a large table for up to 18 people, relax in the hammock, or enjoy evenings with Apple TV on a 3-meter screen.



A 120 sqm private terrace extends the living space outdoors and offers room for barbecuing, sunbathing, or simply sitting quietly among the trees.



The house includes two bathrooms with showers and separate toilets, allowing groups to move comfortably without congestion. One of the bedrooms has its own terrace and a small office area.



Guest Access:

You have exclusive access to the entire house and outdoor areas.



Parking for up to 5 cars is available directly in front of the house.



As part of your stay, one 3-hour session in the lakeside sauna is included and you can book a session after your confirmation. Additional sauna time, canoes, or massages can be arranged if desired.



The Neighborhood:

The house is located in a quiet forest and lakeside area with very few neighboring properties. The surroundings are calm and natural, and privacy is highly valued.



Please respect the privacy of others, do not enter neighboring land, and keep a considerate distance when using boats on the lake. The access road leads through the forest and should be driven slowly, as wildlife and occasional local traffic may be present.



The area is ideal for guests who enjoy nature, swimming, sauna, canoeing, hiking, and simply being away from busy environments. Nearby towns such as Floda and Gothenburg can be reached by car for restaurants, shopping, and cultural activities.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended, else you can take the train to floda and then it is just a 10min uber. The house is located in a quiet forest and lakeside area and is not easily accessible by public transport.



Parking is available directly at the house. Grocery stores, restaurants, and services can be reached by car in the surrounding towns like Floda. The area is ideal for guests who enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and flexible mobility.

We are not on-site unless specifically requested or necessary. Our goal is to provide a calm, private stay with reliable support in the background.
