Apartament in nice neighbour close to the city centre (10 min by tramway T1 or on foot), 2 large double bedrooms with queen beds, one living room, kitchen (equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, oven, stove, iron and iron table, a large balcony), bathroom with shower completely renovated in november 2023, such as windows. Free fibra wifi, AC in the bedrooms. 1st floor (2nd US) with elevator.

The area is quiet, close to the center (tramway T1 stop STATUTO, for the VALFONDA centre). For stays longer than 10 days, water, electricity and gas according to consumption. Parking on the street (blue lines for non-residents) or at the Fortezza-Fiera covered car park (20 euros per day). Longer winter stays are considered. CIR 048017LTN6919

The apartment is located in an elegant and quiet residential neighborhood from the early 1900s (Statuto area), very close to the centre, connected by tram to the airport (T1+T2), the station and the city center (T1 or on foot ). Also very close is the Fortezza da Basso/Palazzo dei Congressi exhibition and fair venue (T1 or on foot) and the Careggi Polyclinic (T1). In the nearby Via dello Statuto there is a pharmacy, bank, hairdresser, bar, various shops and an excellent ice cream shop. A large COOP supermarket inside a shopping center is located two tram stops away. The neighborhood is inhabited by many families, you will feel part of the city.

Quiet and yet very close to the city

Ahead of our visit, our host showed great communication, and even provided detailed transport information to get from the airport all the way to her home. We were also invited to access the property earlier than advertised by our host (due to extremely hot weather and us arriving on an early flight), and given a great overview of the sites to see on our short trip. Great advice was provided on areas to avoid too (not that there are many). The property is a nice size, with air con in each of the large bedrooms, a decent shower and toilet room, and a fully featured kitchen with balconies on both sides of the apartment. The apartment was presented to us in a good clean state, with plenty of utensils for cooking and cleaning, and even extras such as proper coffee and such. The property is located in a pleasant and quiet street, and is a short walk to the local tram stop at the end of the street. Make sure to visit the local Gelateria across from the tram stop - easily the best we had, and we had a lot over the week! The tram had us in the city center within a few minutes and no more than a 15-20 min walk to most of the locations we visited, both cultural and gastronomic. All in we couldn't have asked for more from our host, her property, and Fiorenza / Florence in general - what a great welcome, a superb hub to holiday from, and a lovely experience for my daughter and I over the week. Thoroughly recommended!

Owner was fantastic

The owner of this apartment was so helpful. She was very through in the information she gave us on the neighborhood and how to get around. The apartment was very clean and well stocked for what we needed. The locations was perfect for reaching attractions. The tram stop was just a short walk to reach. Antonella even helped us book some additional days at a different apartment so we could come enjoy Florence sooner than scheduled. Five stars across the board.

Siamo stati in questa struttura tre giorni a Pasqua. Ci sono 2 stanze da letto enormi, la casa offre tutti i comfort possibili. La posizione è magnifica, si trova a 1 minuto dalla fermata della tramvia che ti porta in centro. La proprietaria è una persona molto gentile: ci ha consigliato su tutto...posti dove mangiare cosa vedere in città.
