An absolute gem of a studio duplex, right in the heart of the Centro Storico, this is the perfect base to explore the romantic city of Florence.

With an independent entrance, on a picturesque street, just 150m from the Ponte Vecchio, this studio is both cute and functional. The living space has terracotta tiled floors and high wooden ceilings. There are two contemporary armchairs, a flatscreen TV and a dining table for 2 people.

The open-plan corner kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, fridge, freezer, Mokka coffee maker and washing machine. There is also a breakfast bar with 2 stools for enjoying an espresso or an aperitivo.

Open stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom. There is storage on the ground floor for guests’ belongings.

Location
It is hard to find a more central location than this quiet street, just 2 minutes\' walk from the Ponte Vecchio. This studio is really the perfect base to explore the city. The south bank of the River Arno, known as “Oltrarno”, has a lot to recommend it. The Piazza Santo Spirito (9 minutes) hosts many different markets and the fun continues into the night when the local trattorie and bars come to life.

The better-known sites, including the Uffizi gallery, the Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica are all within a 10 to 20 minute walk from the studio. For some peace and quiet then guests should head to the Boboli Gardens, behind the Pitti Palace (10 minutes walk) where you can spend an afternoon admiring the fountains and statues.

If guests want to cook at home, then the variety of produce at the Mercato Centrale (19 minutes) is unparalleled. There is also an organic farmers’ market in Piazza Santo Spirito on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Otherwise, there are shops selling everything you could need within walking distance of the apartment.

Florence’s international airport is just a 25minute drive from the studio, and the city’s main railway station a 20 minute taxi ride or a 20 minute walk.
