Overall it was peaceful and friendly not much around to do but in all fairness I was just passing through. Though South of the border was conveniently close by, their pool was opened which was a plus.
I didn't stay awating my refund.
Rooms were in a very poor shape, everything was dirty.And it smelled like mold.Also, they did not have a non smoking room.
Very disappointed. Our room was gross, sink was dirty, cockroaches on the floor, sofa mattress very thin and very uncomfortable. Stains on the bedding

Check in was easy. The lady working at the counter was nice. The room isnt terrible. The one major concern is how damp it is. The floor stays wet. That could be a hazard for older people or disabled people. I used a towel to try to keep the floor dry. After the first time i could see how filthy the floor actually was. We paid under $100 to stay for one night and thats not terrible. I definitely wouldnt stay here for longer than that
First, the front desk lady was so friendly and helpful! She could work at any fine hotel.
Second, our group got to know her well as we had to change rooms twice due to a dirty/ unbearably smelly room or broken A/C. The other half of our group had to change rooms three times for the same issues.
By far, one of the worst hotel stays of my life.
We specifically chose this hotel because it was "by Wyndham" and that used to mean quality.
We ended up cutting our trip short and leaving a day early due to how unclean the property was.
I asked if there was a fridge when checking in. I was told yes. I have diabetes medication that has to be refrigerated. It was past midnight and I didnt want to look for ice in the street at that time.
There was no fridge in the room. At All.

Check in was quick and receptionist was great. The room that we stayed needed some upgrading and a little more effort on the cleaning. Sheets were old looking. Room had a smell of cleaning products mixed with old building.

This bed was so itchy that every time you moved you woke up because you itched! I don’t think it was bed bugs,(I looked for the bugs picked up sheets and moved mattress) it was like they washed the sheets and blanket in insulation. I guess that’s what you get for $60.

Lights missing bulbs. Outlets not working. TV very small
You get what you pay for. Not what I expected for a Wyndham establishment. Front desk was super nice and accommodating.
Door did not close automatically had to turn hand and pull to close. Again you get what you pay for.
The TV remote did not work, the phone did not work, the staff was ok but not very helpful, the area around the place was run down. It is an older building and needs some TLC really bad. The door didn’t close well to go outside and the bathroom door would close if you shut it really hard. We were give. Two towels for two people to stay for three days.
This was was one of my worst experiences. The lady at the counter stayed on her phone in the back. Even came to the front on it to take care of me. While the job phone rang out and she didn't answer that. The room wasn't up to par. Things falling apart and the microwave wasn't even plugged in. Didn't see a place to plug it in. Holes in the sheet and toilet paper holder falling out the wall.
Took 3 minutes for person to come to desk. She was on her personal phone the whole time. The first room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. The second room had a dirty refrigerator and a microwave that was able to plug in. There were things falling apart. Lights and in the bathroom. The 1st room was 217 2nd 221. Wouldn't go back
