Dedo was fine for a boutique hotel in an old part of Florence. What I didn't expect is that you require 3 keys and a code to get into the building. The sign for the hotel is very small - so we missed it at first. Then, you are greeted with a large wood door (need a key if not opened), then a steel gate (need a passcode to get in), then you have to go up to the 3rd floor for reception. The rooms are small - but they are modern and clean. The noise in the hallway was a bit loud. The breakfast was great - lots of choices. Very tasty. Over all, it was fine - if you don't mind the hassle to get in.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and sincere. The breakfast is good with many varieties to choose from. Unfortunately there is no in house laundry as advertised but you can walk about 3 mins to reach a laundromat. In addition, the hotel is on the 3rd floor of a locked secure building so for an initial visitor, it could be a challenge to go into the hotel. Right after you checked in, they will provide you with an access code to solve the issue.
