This hotel has an only few rooms on random old building but in front of the hotel has really nice & quiet park, very modern and clean rooms. It is walkable from Duomo and historic center of city and train station.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Essence! The reception area and our room was nicely appointed with a modern vibe. Raphael and her staff were very friendly and informative and the cleaning staff kept the rooms nice and clean! We also liked that it is in walking distance to the various museums, attractions, and the train station in Florence. We also enjoyed that the hotel was across the street from a very nice park that we could take a stroll in. The park also hosted community events such as a flea market during the weekend while we were there. We could also see the nicely treed park from our room which was a nice touch. We would stay there again should we visit Florence in the future.
