Noisy from restaurant customers, buses and water pump on the roof could be a problem if you have a problem falling asleep. Room 20 we stayed is on the site of street which is very small. Hope hotel use refill liquid soap/shampoo bottle instead of using disposable soap packets. Location is good, supermarkets, T1 to regional bus station, T2 to train station all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Use hotel Aline on GPS instead of address because there are two different numbers on the wall. Look for the big square blue number 14.

We had a room with a shower and a balcony - that was really a plus for us. No air con but the fan was a god send during the 35° summer. When we arrived the toilets werent stocked up with soap and paper towels and the reception often opened late and closed early. This, coupled with the overall dingy feel of the place were the worst things about it. However, Florence is expensive, and given what I stood to pay elsewhere, I am pretty happy about our stay here

My partner and I booked the Double room with a private bathroom and it was excellent, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. We were also able to leave our bags with reception until we could check in which was great

Nice place, nice location.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was walkable feom the train station with small luggage. The room was beautiful. The bus stop is close by, walking distance was good as well.

Aline made us feel as if we were home. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and great with communication. They give amazing tips about navigating the city The location is amazing, walking distance front he terminal to The Academy, to the Doumo and much more. The room is clean, and very organized. Got even get a beautiful view out of your window. The bathroom is clean, you are supplied with toiletries and the towels are nice.

Very nice old school style. Hardwood handmade furniture and an elevator from the 50's. If you want to escape the New World Order track, trace and database your every move, then this is the place.

Clean and good for one night

For the price range of 45-60 usd. The hotel is very clean and located in quite convenient area.good for one or two nights stay . Down side is the rest room is located out side the room and the shower room is so tiny if you are weight more than 80 kg. Think twice.

We liked the fact that it was a short walk to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The area was safe. There is a very good coffee shop with a lovely seating area in the back that we went to every day. Excellent service by the man that runs the place. He was very helpful and even booked our tour for us. We were a little concerned that there was a shower in the room and we opted for the shared bathroom but it the end it was totally fine. The shower has a cover so you can have a bit of privacy and there are 2 shared bathrooms (1 also has a shower). I'd definitely recommend this place if you have a short stay in Florence. It's literally a 10 - 15 minute walk from the train station. I would recommend taking a taxi if you have loads of bags as the sidewalks are old and small so if it's busy it might be an issue. If you only have small bags then it's no issue at all.
