I had overall an excellent stay at the Hotel Calimala Florence. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. It was excellently located. I thought the bathroom a bit cramped, but I had a small room anyway. The breakfast buffet was fine, just not at the price they had it. I did enjoy dinner there, though. Overall it worked out very very well. For other travelers, I will point out that there are two buildings very close together; the one with the rooftop restaurant is "Angel Roofbar & Dining" on Google maps, which was confusing at first.

Excellent location, staff are attentive. Clean room, i hope they had a bath robe though. It was raining when we came and they had umbrellas to borrow so thats very much appreciated so we dont have to buy. Will definitely stay with them again when we come back!
