Fantastic location, great dinner tips

Pros: The reception gave great recommendations for lunches and dinners.
The hotel is perfect for solo, couples or families. It is less than 5 minutes from the duomo.

A true little gem of a hotel.

I booked this hotel after reading reviews on many different websites. The location couldn't have been much better, everything in the centre was easily within walking distance, the Duomo being less than 5 mins, Michelangelo's David being less than 5 in the other direction, and the Palazzo Medici practically next door. I was greeted by fantastic, friendly staff who gave me a map and pointed out all the sites and gave tips on where to walk to reach that point. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the shower/toilet room. I slept easily every night in a comfortable bed. I didn't have breakfast while I stayed because I was always in a hurry to get out and explore. I think you would have to go a long way to match this little gem for the price.

Das Zimmer (8C) war neben dem Speisesaal und deswegen laut. Nach 7 Uhr war es nicht mehr möglich zu schlafen. Die Lage hingegen war sehr gut.

Gutes Hotel an hervorragender Lage

Pros: Tolle Lage, nettes Personal, alles tiptop für eine Städtereise
Cons: Zimmer anbieten, welche denen im Internet entsprechen. Ansonsten alles belassen wie es ist. Preis-Leistung stimmt mit dem Upgrade-Zimmer überein.
Location: Das Hotel befindet sich an optimaler Lage, in kurzer Distanz zum Duomo und allen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zu Fuss ist alles bestens erreichbar.
Das erste Zimmer, welches uns zugeteilt wurde, befand sich in einem schrecklichen Zustand. Lieblos eingerichtet mit sehr alten, dunklen Möbeln. Das Schlimmste war das Bad: grossflächige Stellen von Pilzbefall oberhalb des Fensters und in der Dusche. Nach intensiver Reklamation direkt beim Chef wurde uns dann ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten. Dieses Zimmer war renoviert und nett eingerichtet, auch das Bad befand sich einem tadellosen Zustand. Einzig der Safe war nicht zu öffnen, was jedoch auch nicht viel gebracht hätte, denn er war nicht fixiert und hätte allenfalls einfach aus dem Zimmer transportiert werden können. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer geht in einen sehr kleinen Innenhof, dafür ist es sehr ruhig gelegen. Ab und zu hörte man einige Geräusche vom Treppenhaus. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und ich erhielt jeden Morgen glutenfreie Produkte. Auch das Personal an der Rezeption war immer sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Ganz besonders positiv aufgefallen ist die liebevolle und freundliche Bedienung beim Frühstück: mit einem Lachen und einer Herzlichkeit wurden wir jeden Morgen begrüsst. Grazie mille! Auch die Zimmer waren jeden Tag aufs Neue sauber geputzt und die Tücher im Bad wurden ausgewechselt, was zwar nicht unbedingt nötig gewesen wäre. Ein gutes Hotel für ein paar Nächte in Florenz.

Hôtel accueillant et très bien situé

Le personnel est très accueillant, en particulier la personne qui s'occupe des petits déjeuners. Notre chambre était spacieuse avec une bonne literie. Deux bémols: la porte de notre chambre donnait sur la réception et nous entendions tous les bruits et les conversations. De plus, nous avions une odeur d'humidité très forte dans la salle de bain qui était très inconfortable.
