Much nicer than expected! Lots of cozy hang out spaces. In a big piazza square with many restaurants and walkable to everything but don’t get lost or depend on Google maps as data is spotty and sometimes unavailable especially around museums with thousands trying to use internet. Make copies of all docs to your photos “trip” albums to easily enter museums etc as the ferenze card maybe not open. Also watch out for copy cat sites for tickets the Firenze card red allows you to r Make reservations ahead for Uffizi and Academy I.e. David, you have to call though which is annoying but have that code and card ready and go to gate 3 window to trade code for tickets. It’s complicated and unorganized.

We stayed for one night at the end of December (2024). A really nice hotel that is very walkable to the train station (5-7 minute walk). Great staff, nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast! It was a really convenient location and walkable to the sites we wanted to see for the day we were in Florence.

Beautiful hotel and central to many things. Restaurants within yards. Beautiful bath and shower that isn't seen in the pics with very hot water every time. Gorgeous breakfast comes with the room price. Really comfortable bed with fine linens. After a long day walking its a dream. They also have a turn down service and snacks for in room dining until 10:30 pm. I would love to go back!!

We stayed in apartment 5 in the hotel annex in the Oltrano area for 5 nights. It is renovated and a very comfortable one bedroom with living room and pullout sleep sofa. Full kitchen and dining area. A few steps from Ponte Vecchio. Staff made check in to apartment very easy. Buffet breakfast is available as sister hotel - a beautiful 10 minute walk. Enjoyed the feeling of living in Florence. Many restaurants and cafes.
