We stayed here on our 1st leg of our trip unique building. My wife brought 8 mini tubes of shampoo on our last night here packing up 2 where missing. We told the staff and they pretty much called us liars that someone took them. The hotel is old so the air conditioning only goes so low so they brought me a fan for the room. We travel a lot and have never had something stolen from our room.

The hotel was beautiful and in a convenient location near the train station. We were right on the piazza but the room was quiet. It felt very private. Breakfast was wonderful. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. My only issue was that the hotel was very difficult to find as the signage outside is very small and barely noticeable.

The property was excellent. Clean, quiet, easy access to the train station and very centrally located to the tourist spots. The breakfast was an american style breakfast buffet but high quality. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the train station and the Duomo, and right in front of Santa Maria Novella Church and square. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even giving us a hand when we left our luggage and headed out for a tour, which made things so easy. The room had everything I needed—water, slippers, bathrobes—and the bathroom amenities were great too. After sightseeing, I loved relaxing in the cozy lobby, which was really comfortable. If I come back to Florence, I’d definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous hotel in the most fabulous location. 5 minutes from everything. Hotel itself had amazing service, amenities and fun theme. Stayed here over 10 years ago and this time around was just as fabulous as I remember. Highly recommend!
