Fantastic location about 5-10 mins walk from the main tourist spots. We had a great room on the top floor with a balcony so we could sit out and enjoy the sun. The staff were super friendly and helpful and always available to help.

This was adequate for our last one-night hotel stay in Italy, but the hotel was hard to find, requiring a very discomfiting drive down narrow one-way streets with graffiti on walls and gates. The room’s a/c didn’t work, and we couldn’t open windows because of noise and absent screens. Both my husband and I fell on the step in the middle of the bathroom. Staff was attentive, and maybe we could have gotten a different room, but we were too tired and stressed to bother.

Just a few blocks from the Duomo and they offer parking, which is great. Not the most welcoming staff at the reception, but he did his job and came across more friendly after a couple of minutes. Drain clogged, flooded the bathroom. shower water too hot or too cold, terrible shower quality. And at check out day, my father left in the room a huge bag with valueable presents and gifts. When we contacted the hotel after less than an hour, they said they didn’t find it, which is obviously false, cause the bag was big. I asked to see the security cameras and they said there weren’t any security cameras in the hotel. What??? Impossible. Terrible hotel. Someone probably took our stuff.

This was our first visit to Florence. The first room we were given (216) was very poor. Bedding Threadbare, Smelled of bleach Bathroom had only one light over the mirror so the rest of the very small bathroom was in the dark. The shower had fittings missing and a tile off. It was grubby overall due to being so old. The tiling and fittings looked like they were over 30 years old. It desperately needed a refurbish overall. The extractor fan bearings were worn out so it was very noisy when running. The Toilet would flush itself again a few minutes after being flushed. The curtains and net curtains were dusty and grubby. Looks like they had not been washed for many years. The staff were very good though, and agreed to move us to another room the next morning. This was much better. Although would rate it as being average rather than good. So this helped rescue the trip for us, otherwise we would have had a terrible stay.

La situation de l'hôtel est parfaite, sur l'une des plus belles places de Florence, à 200m du Duomo. Chambre, petite et un peu vieillotte, mais très propre. Le petit déjeuner excellent, avec un choix de charcuteries et fromages toscans de qualité, de bons pains, et surtout un personnel aux petits soins, très aimable.
