A great, clean room in a brilliant location in Florence. Close to the train station for easy transport options and also close to the main major sites of Florence. Lots of great food options and shops nearby. Lovely, quiet room, appeared to be recently renovated which was lovely.

The breakfast menu was standard and the breakfast room was cramped and not pleasant or relaxing. The neighborhood was vibrant and fun with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was pleasant and helpful with directions and travel questions. We had a problem with the shower which didn’t get resolved before our stay ended.

One star for location - very close to the train station, Il Duomo, the pedestrian district and many restaurants. One star for the staff - they were very friendly and helpful. One star for the shower - plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Half a star for the breakfast - nothing fancy but it was adequate; pastries, eggs, juice, bread, coffee. Half a star for the room size - nice and spacious. I can’t give any more stars - the bed was not comfortable, the pillows were horrible; lots of noise from guests in hallway and/or other rooms. Water pressure in sink was too strong and scalding hot, you had to be very careful. All in all it’s an ok choice; a little pricey but that’s Florence.
