Love the retro look with the HoJo color scheme. Everything looked new and immaculate, but the classic decor gave the place some character and a bit of charm instead of looking like a standard issue, one each hotel. Will look for other HoJos during our travels.

Room was clean, in good condition. My only 2 issues were the gap under the door let in an extreme amount of cold air as I was staying the night of the ice storm warning and the coffee in the breakfast was lukewarm. For the price, was a good stay.

Good basic budget accommodations. No surprises and no complaints. Room was a bit tired but clean. Super-friendly staff. We enjoy the 'park outside your room' for easy unpacking and quick exits instead of hauling all of your bags through the lobby, waiting for an elevator and navigating the hallways.

The first room we got was old and unexceptionable. The carpet was piled and strands pulled up, the cushion on the bed was frayed and ripped. I asked for a more updated room, showed the manager my photos and he gave us another room. Once again we brought all our luggage in and started to look around. We didn’t have to look far. The room was in the middle of renovations. There was plaster dust on everything, the shower area was not complete, chunks of plaster that was not sanded. The tub was full of plaster so we couldn’t have a shower. We were so tired after driving for 13hrs we didn’t have the stamina to look for another room. I have pictures to show what the both rooms looked like. The rating on your site looked like everything was great, were we just unlucky. You might want to lower the rating. When we checked out I mentioned it to the front desk clerk to have someone to check the room. I said in a very nice way that we would never return. I thought after someone seen the room that they might contact us but never heard from them. I don’t see anywhere where I can send the photos but would like you to see them.
