Pros: The apartment is in a great location. It is directly across the street from the Accademia Museum, and three blocks from the Cathedral Santa Maria de Flore. It is fairly easy to walk to most locations. The apartment was very clean. It had two kitchens - one downstairs and one upstairs. One bedroom is upstairs, where there is a small balcony with table and chairs. It has a good view from the balcony. Bedrooms were nice with sufficient space. The owners were very timely in answering emails and where easy to reach by phone. They were very helpful and friendly. Cons: The apartment is on the 4th floor, with relatively steep stairs, and there is no elevator. Carrying heavy suitcases up and then down was a challenge, plus the climb after daily excursions. The third bedroom is upstairs with more steps to climb with bags. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom on the right needs to be replaced. It had a ridge in the middle and sloped to one side- it was uncomfortable. The upstairs bathroom is nice but small with a shower that is just a curtain that separates the shower area from the sink and toilet. The water drains into a drain along the edge of the floor. The A/C in the other downstairs bedroom did not cool very well. There were no extra garbage bags.
