2BR Folly Cottage 1-block from the beach!

This charming, fully renovated, 2BR 1940's cottage is in a prime location one block to beach. Quintessential Folly layout - a huge front porch, capturing the ocean breeze, living room flanked with two bedrooms, both of which have queen beds and each with en-suite full bath. A light filled kitchen with new appliances and all amenities to whip up a meal on vacation. Only a short walk or bike ride to Center Street for great restaurants and shops. Charleston is less than a 15 minute drive.

The space
The Sol Surfers Cottage is your private Folly Beach retreat, just one block to the beach (with an access directly across from the house) and few blocks to the restaurants, bars, Bert's market, and Center Street, just a short walk away. The street is one off the main drag, so it's super quiet, with privacy from the neighbors and traffic. The front screened in porch has plenty of seating, a large dining table and bistro lights for a perfect nighttime vibe.

Our goal was to create a super relaxing space to share with our family and friends. Guests love that we are just one block from the beach (500 ft.), and only four blocks to the bars and restaurants of Center Street.

- How close to the beach? There is a public beach access one house over, requiring that you walk across two 'skinny blocks' to get to a beautiful public beach- about 500 feet.

- Can I get surf lessons? we own Sol Surfers Surf Camp offering private lessons and surf camps all year around.

- Can I rent surfboards? yes we have surfboards for rent

- Can I rent a golf cart? can be rented through our friends at Charleston Golf Cart Rentals.

- Do you have WiFi and cable? YES! We have Xfinity cable package with Flex Box, Netflix and bluetooth speakers on the porch.

- Do you provide towels and linens? Yes! Bath towels and bed linens are included, but please bring your own beach towels, blankets, and tapestries!

- Can we cook? Yes! There is a range, stainless appliances, and a full set of knives, pots, pans and cookware.

-Whats the coffee situation? There is usually regular coffee and coffee filters on premises along with a Cuisinart drip pot.

- Can we check-in early? Probably not! Please don't show up early. Are you sure? YES. Please don't show up early and watch us clean.

- How do I turn on the porch tea lights?? The switch is behind the two arm chairs. Enjoy!

From our front door to the beach will take you a brief walk of 90 seconds! Outdoor shower is available on the back of the house!

This cottage offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
