Welcome to our little slice of rural paradise. Our accommodation is a quiet escape from the bustle of town, surrounded by open space, fresh air, and a calming rural atmosphere.
We are 10 minutes drive from Whanganui's CBD and 60 minutes from Palmerston North Airport.
The cottage is tucked in behind our triple garage and shares the driveway with our home but after that you are totally private and secluded.
The Tūī Pond Cottage is a modern, warm, quiet new build. (2025)
We are situated on a 1 hectare rural lifestyle block with all three neighbours away across paddocks and hidden behind trees. The cottage has a lounge/dining/compact kitchen including a comfortable couch, extendable dining table, chairs, TV. It includes an oven, microwave, one pot induction cooker, toaster, hot water jug, tea and coffee. There will be muesli and porridge sachets for your 1st morning.
The cottage has two large bedrooms, each with extremely comfortable king size beds with clean quality linen.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Durie Hill Memorial Tower. Enjoy features like free breakfast. Free WiFi and a kitchenette are available in the cottage.
