Misleading Listing – Not a Hotel Experience
This property is listed as a hotel, but it does not operate like one in any meaningful way.
From the start, there were unexpected extra charges layered on top of the booking, including so-called “resort” fees and a separate greeter fee. These were not clearly reflected in the original price and significantly increased the cost after booking.
During my stay, I received an email outlining rules that are completely inconsistent with a hotel experience. For example:
• Towels are only changed every 5 days and require a voucher system, with strict instructions not to leave them in the room.
• Basic room supplies are only replenished after the 5th day of a reservation.
• Guests are expected to take their own trash to disposal rooms on each floor using their key card.
This is not how hotels operate. These are procedures more consistent with a shared or extended-stay accommodation, not a hotel advertised with standard amenities.
The room itself was also subpar. The towel rack was ripped off the wall, only one roll of toilet paper was provided, and there was no bottled water or basic hospitality items typically expected at a hotel. While these may seem like minor issues individually, they matter when a property is charging hotel-level prices and presenting itself as such.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized, restrictive, and misleading. This property should not be allowed to list itself as a hotel on Expedia
