Ok. So here's a summary of our week at this condo.Up front, my wife and i have grown children, we came here on our own for a winter break, and we're frequent travelers with high expecations.So a quick summaryThe building itself is showing some age, but is clean. The apartment itself is exactly as the photos look, was very clean, well appointed and had a true ocean front view.It IS located above the Tiki Bar, which was very busy but surprisingly you could barely hear it.Valet is 18.00 a day but you have to pay to park everywhere so its fine. We usually jusy got out keys and skipped the wait.Beach chairs were 20.00 a day each to rent (same price up and down the beach)If you want to buy small ones instead the beach shop at LBtS has them for about 25.00.They will check bags for liquer. But they dont rifle thru them. If you bring beer to the beach, just be discreet, its fine. But they want you to buy drinks at the tiki barThe tiki bar is "ok". Overpriced. Good area reataurants....avg dinners for 2 with appetizers and drinks avgd 150.00Lauderdale by the Sea is a 1 mile walk down the beach and had a few good bars, restaurants and coffee shops.Theres a Winn Dixie a block away for supplies.Host was accomodating and though this apt wasnt inexpensive, it was well worth the . Definitely has a cool factor to it, a pretty comfortable bed, amazing view and everything you need.Highly recommended
