Disliked: Cleanliness
This place is the worst we’ve ever stayed at. Avoid this place at all costs. We payed for an ocean view room and got a view of the parking lot. The sliding door in the room would not lock. We tried to get this fixed for 8 hours and no one ever came to fix it. The “maintenance man” finally showed up and did not know how to use a screwdriver. After he slammed and poked at the door for 15 minutes we went downstairs to tell them he didn’t know how to fix it and they finally offered a new room at 1030pm. On the last 2 days, our AC quit working and the room would not get below 78 degrees. We called maintenance and he came in, felt that the vent was blowing some air, and said “it’s working” and left. The furniture and decor in the room is all thrown together and falling apart. When we moved rooms, the front desk man asked if we think the cleaners could just “touch up” the old room so they did not have to clean it again. The new room was missing a comforter and the sliding door lock still was not working. Maintenance figured out a way to rig up the lock enough for it to lock, but we were unable to open the door for the rest of the trip. If you like the smell of weed, paper thin walls, and a run down vibe this place is for you. Also, heads up, you are not able to carry your own food or drinks on the beach there because they “provide everything for you” to pay for.
